This was part of a show where the theme was crows and ravens. I could call this piece seeing eye to eye. These birds are very smart, and I tried to show how intensely they observe humans.

This piece was commissioned by a retired RCMP officer who wanted to commemorate her dearly loved Rottweilers. She wanted an old master approach combined with humor. This was a lot of fun to paint and I am very pleased that the owner treasures the painting.
